ever since the arrival of our little bundle of joy, both sets of grandparents haven't been able to get enough of her! :) my parents are here for a month, and they couldn't be happier to spend each and every moment watching her grow and change day by day - i love seeing them so enamored by her :) my mom has been a LIFESAVER...i really don't think we'd survive without her - she's helped so much with the baby from burping, changing, and helping us through the night when she wakes up, all the while taking good care of us. she makes sure we have 3 nutritious home-cooked meals a day (korean seaweed "miyuk" soup 3x a day for me!), helps us with all the laundry, and ensures the house is super clean for the baby (didn't know my mom could be so OCD w/cleanliness! :P). we're SO incredibly grateful for her, especially while we transition and learn how to juggle everything with a newborn :)
kayla's other set of grandparents (phil's parents) have been SOOOO in love with her from the moment they laid eyes on her (to say the least)! we video chat with them almost every other day b/c they miss her. they've been trying to come down to visit as often as possible, but it's harder b/c of their schedule. i'm happy i'll get to spend a month with them after my parents leave :) lots of grandparent love!

philip's family came down to visit last weekend, and his mom insisted on cooking lunch/dinner for us to give my mom a break. YUMMY shabu shabu with 10+lbs of melt-in-your-mouth beef (no joke). she made enough to feed 50 people...awesomeness. it was such a good time to have both our families all together :)

kayla loves being held by her grandma...the other night, she lifted her head to see who was coming down the stairs...hehe it was so cute! :) i cherish all these little moments.
it's funny to see my dad w/a baby, but he's surprisingly really good with her :) he always gets the biggest smile when he looks at her :D

we're SO thankful and blessed that kayla has so much love from her uncles and grandparents. she's already being spoiled rotten by them, but we're not complaining...just yet ;)
Oh, I didn't know your dad was there too - that's great! I love the one of her holding her head up to see who'd coming down the stairs. Isn't it amazing how quickly they learn to do things? Give Kayla a kiss for me!
