pretty hilarious hearing her do all of them :P
she started counting a little (to our surprise!), and we only really found out because we found her counting to herself one day putting things in her bucket. we had always tried to count anything countable from the day she was born (the steps going upstairs or coming downstairs, the number of books she has, the number of fingers and toes, etc), so i guess somewhere along the line, she kind of caught on a bit. she won't count on demand if i ask her to, she just has to be in the mood to count something, and she'll do it. for some funny reason, she likes the numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10. not sure why she doesn't like 4 or 7 yet...haha.
she is really talking and communicating so much more these days. it's fun to interact with her :) she'll say a definite "YESH" or "YAH" if she wants something and a defiant "NO" if she really doesn't. she'll say, "UP!" if she wants to go upstairs and "DOW" if she wants to go downstairs. ahhh my sassy little girl :)

she loves her flashcards. her favorite letters are "o" and "m"...haha. again, dunno why! she says oh-pah-ta-ta" for octopus and "ahl-kay-kay" for alligator (which we just love) :) she especially likes the cards apple, bee, monkey, necklace, yoyo, whale, and zebra.
