blueberry heaven

we went blueberry picking a few weekends back (before it got dreadfully hot), and kbear had a BLAST.  there's a great local place where you could pick cherries, apples, blueberries, peaches, corn, and pumpkins (in the fall).  a great find!  we took a hayride out to the blueberry fields and picked to our hearts desire.  at first kbear just picked a few here and there dropping them into my basket.  then she realized she could have her own basket, so she took one and filled it with blueberries galore!  of course she didn't discriminate against the not-so-ripe green/pinkish ones, so i had to pretty much throw half of her picks out :P  but she looked so cute picking them :)

we weren't supposed to eat them until we washed them, but we caught her sneaking one into her mouth! she just couldn't wait to try it :P

after we got back, there was this babies water fountain splashing area and a petting/feeding zoo, so we let her splash around and see some cows, goats, chicken, horses, etc.  a good way to end the day!

we had such a great time with our little kbear :)  we're gonna soon go corn picking! :D
