LA trip continued...

took a long break there from our LA posts. we had SUCH a great time seeing so many friends and family from near and far.  one of my closest girls flew down from SF just for the day to meet kayla and catch up with me...love!  we had such a blast - it was a day full of good eats and fun :)  thanks for making the daytrip down, crbr!  kayla loOoOoOves you :)  you've already spoiled her BEYOND belief w/all your designer gear and diapers (best gift EVER for a new parent! :P)

first stop on our way home from the airport: DIN TAI FUNG!  best shanghai dumplings EVER.  the juice oozes out as you take the first bite...mmmm *droooool*

second stop: to meet kayla bear! :)  crbr is naturally so good w/babies and kids since she's surrounded by so many of em...kayla just cozied up to her! :)

next stop: japan town in LA for daikokuya...BEST.RAMEN.EVER.  seriously, so worth the wait.  i could eat here everyday.

next stop: Intelligentsia for some delish coffee for hardcore coffee lovers (crbr, that is...i'm weaksauce and like tons of sugar and milk in my coffee :P)

final stop for these 2 piggies: LEMONADE!  all kinds of different flavors of lemonade from blueberry mint to kiwi strawberry to pineapple coriander to watermelon rosemary.  so yummy!  and a creamy, scrumptious caramel fleur de sel macaroon to top it off :D
