today kayla is 3 months, and what a 3 months it has been! we've been SO fortunate and blessed with her ~ she truly is a gift from God. it's amazing to see how she's changed and developed day by day, month by month. we cherish each moment - from her smiles to her little conversations with us to her fun personality, just can't get enough :) it's crazy to think that just 3 months ago, she was swimming around in my belly kicking her little feet against my tummy, and now here she is, our precious growing little chubb chubbs (still kicking just as wildly) :)
looking back on how hard the newborn stage was with all the sleepless nights and fussiness, it pales in comparison to how much love and joy we have for our little kalya. it really is beyond anything you can describe in words how much LOVE you can feel for another human being. and it blows my mind everyday thinking that this little baby is the only thing in this world that is a combination of me and my husband. i read once that children are a gift on loan from God, and i'm so thankful that He entrusted philip and me with such a precious precious gift. we're SO blessed to have our baby girl, and we're excited to see how she develops and changes day by day, second by second. happy 3 months to our beautiful kayla :) we love you more than you can imagine.
