chasing shadows

since the weather has been so much warmer, we've been taking advantage of any glimpse of sunlight. kbear loves it when we say, "outside"? or "park?" she responds with a giddy, "owsiiiiiiiiiide" or "paaaaaahk"!  she has this little giddy dance she does when there's even a mention of going to the park :) then she grabs her coat, her scarf, and her shoes, and stands by the door waiting for us to put it on her.  she then waves and says "bye" to the mirror (we've come to do this each morning before we leave, waving bye to our own reflections :P).  we try to take kbear to the park anytime phil gets home at a decent hour from work if the sun is still out.  here are a few of our adventures :)

we got a bubble machine b/c of our lil bear's obsession with bubbles.  she had a ball with hundreds of bubbles to chase all for herself!

auntie jeannie came over to spend a day with kayla, and she came bearing fun gifts in this hello kitty bag from uniqlo. this is what k kept doing with the bag :P  i don't know why.  but we couldn't stop laughing...

phil's been playing the guitar for kbear a lot these days - some nursery rhymes, some praise songs, some made up songs...she loves them all :P  she now loves to take the pick and strum :)

lots of hugs required in the choe household :) oftentimes our lil miss independent does not want to be clobbered by mommy and daddy's gazillion hugs :P but sometimes, just sometimes, she'll let us just hug and squeeze her for a good while :)
