random goodness

last weekend, kbear was super sick - coughing and fever coupled with vomiting and a bad virus, she was waking up almost every 15 minutes through the night from the darn coughing bouts.  the hubbs had to work straight through the night for 2 days during the peak of it, so needless to say, i hit a real low point.  and of course, everything is amplified when you're a sleep-deprived zombie trying to overcome a cold.  they weren't kidding - mommyhood ain't no joke!  phil emailed a few of my close gfs in the area (unbeknownst to me) to see if they could come help me - to give me a minute to shower, nap, or eat.  one of my gfs and her hubby came to my rescue on sunday night (mind you, she had work early monday, and he had to catch a flight the following morning)...lifesavers to the utmost.  they came in with bags of groceries, proceeded to cook a gourmet meal (plus food for us for the WEEK), and john helped watch and play with kbear :)  i can't tell you what this meant to me in the moment of sleep deprivation, remnants of vomit juice, and starvation/exhaustion from not getting even a minute of rest that day.  thank you, john & dinky! i can't repay you guys for what you did for me. we're so blessed by you both ;)

kbear was definitely amused

a few weeks ago, mandie, yohan, simon, & maggie stopped by - it was so nice to see their lil family :)

some random kbear updates:

poor lil bugger fell asleep at the dinner table when she was sick (this has NEVER happened!)

she loves to hug her lil snoopy that auntie ves got her :)

the new dora tent appa got for her - she loves to go through the tunnel (and likes to make us go in as well! :P)

she's been keeping busy climbing into and out of her toy bin

her newest obsession: organizing (or disorganizing, actually) pots & pans :P
