the choes reunion

a few wks ago, we had a family reunion that was in the talks for months.  it finally all came into fruition as the mega choe clan flew/drove from near and far to meet in NYC.  some of them had not seen each other for almost 20 years.  it was a wknd full of fun, family, & pure and utter gluttony (of course)...the only way to do it!  philip has come to so many of my family functions/get togethers through the years, it was so nice to finally meet some of his extended family :)  as i get older, now even more so w/a baby, i cherish family more and more.  it was so great to meet all of you guys! :)

one of phil's cousins is 2nd chef in command (sous chef) at the boathouse in central park (the restaurant in SATC where carrie and big fall in the water :P), so we had a great time visiting him and dining there :)  thanks for all the amazing food, kangsuk oppa!  it was absolutely GORGEOUS. so picturesque. def have to go back there for a date night in the fall :)
