i came home saturday after a long day of work, and philip had the baby room ready for me! he built the furniture, put up the curtains and rods, got the guest bed/room ready for my parents to visit, and had the whole house so fresh and so clean clean :) thanks to yohan for helping him with the surprisingly strenuous task of building baby furniture. pictures soon to come...after all the wall decor and baby bedding is complete :)
i'm thankful to have such an efficient and non-procrastinating hubby, especially because i can be quite INefficient and procrastinating at times :P even more so in my current state. i'm also super thankful to have an uber-patient hubby, because i've gotten MUCH slower and sluggish due to being 20lbs heavier, much more forgetful (if that was even possible), and much less able to do things i normally could. we were at walmart the other night to pick up some goods, and we paid for our stuff in the electronics aisle. as we slowly made our way to the front of the store to leave, i passed by the food section and realized i needed a can of pumpkin for a potluck coming up in a few weeks. thinking we had to wait in the long line in front of the store anyway (completely forgetting that we JUST paid for our stuff), i told philip i needed to buy this. he hesitated for a second (the line was literally 20 people long), and said, "ok...we just need to wait in line again." then it DAWNED on me that we had already paid for all our stuff, but he was willing to wait in the 20-person line for my ONE can of pumpkin. PAHAHAHA. of course i put it down. but man o man, the patience of this man! :) i love him :) my heart overfloweth.
last night around 9pmish, i had a HUGE sweet craving overcome me...i really wanted a mcflurry :P even though philip was tired (but wouldn't admit it) and still had to prep for a presentation, he insisted on taking me to mickey d's to get me an oreo mcflurry. yay! :) needless to say, baby and i were happy. i know, i'm spoiled...but i try not to take advantage b/c i know he's much too good to me as it is :) i thank God for him every day :))))
there are SO many other stories that would shock you about my clumsiness, forgetfulness, cravings, etc etc, but i think i've made myself look bad enough for now ;)
on another happy note, my girl, caroline, recently sent us yet ANOTHER baby gift...the CUTEST burberry onesie! hehe :) she's determined to make our baby a trendy fashionista like herself ;) we love it, crbr! xoxo. here it is (except in white with a bib and burberry pattern on the little footsies)...adorable! :)
at 32 weeks...gettin BIG!
thanks for all the love, thoughts, and prayers :)
