baby showered w/love #2 and 3

my employees and coworkers threw me an AH-MAY-ZING surprise baby shower last week ~ i was totally in SHOCK b/c they really threw me off :P  the awesomEST part about it was that every single employee who was there (about 40 of them!) made a dish that was their "specialty" or from their culture.  talk about some GOOD cooks/bakers!  i was seriously so blown away by their skills and thoughtfulness :)

pasta salads, veggie salads, fruit salads galore!

potato salad, pasta salad, pumpkin squash casserole, jamaican-style fried rice

baked mac n cheese, shrimp creole rice, chicken curry, beef empanadas, sausage & peppers, penne a la vodka, true italian-style eggplant parmesan, and chicken marsala...all homemade & DELISH

a few days later, my RESIDENTS threw me a surprise baby shower :)  they all pitched in, got a gift and gave us money to buy baby stuff.  so incredibly sweet and thoughtful.  i love them...it's like having 60 grandmas and grandpas i get to love everyday :)  they have a pool going on as to when the baby will make her entrance into the world...hehe :P  our baby girl is gonna be SO loved by them :)

feeling so beyond blessed. my heart overfloweth.
