family fun in the sun

the in-laws came to visit a few weeks ago to check out our new place and help us settle in :)  it was a wknd filled with....eating, eating, and more eating of course :P  appa choe also helped us fix up some stuff around the place, hang up decorations, etc. he's pretty handy/creative when things need to be fixed w/his inventions and power tools! a true engineer :)

i went shopping with umma choe while phil & his dad went to home depot/lowe's/men's places :P  needless to say, it was a good time. i tried to be a good daughter in-law and cook them a nice dinner, dessert, and breakfast at least once throughout the wknd :P  esp since we go up to their place so often, and they're always taking care of us, feeding us, cooking for us, buying us stuff, it was the least i could do :)  so for dinner, i attempted their favorite non-korean dish: seafood linguine in a white clam sauce from scratch + garlic french bread + salad...for dessert, funnel cake w/powdered sugar and ice cream...and the next morning, grilled chicken and veggie omelets~ they went home fappy (fat & happy) :)
